Exothermic Insulating Feeding Riser Sleeve (RJFM Series)
The RJFM Series exothermic insulating feeding riser sleeve is manufactured from premium raw materials using proprietary high-temperature processes. It features high exothermic output, excellent thermal insulation, and low bulk density (0.7 g/cc) — ensuring superior shrinkage compensation performance for steel and iron castings.
Suitable for a wide range of casting grades and molding processes. After pouring, residual sleeves can be knocked off easily, significantly reducing cutting, grinding, and cleaning costs.

Usage Guidelines
- Calculate the feeding modulus and required feed volume for the casting, then select the appropriate riser sleeve — ensure the effective modulus exceeds the casting modulus.
- Determine the number and size of risers required based on the calculated feed volume.
- Select the appropriate riser sleeve size from the specification table.
- Choose the installation method (plug-in or embedded) based on the molding process. For embedded installation, a dedicated riser mold must be fitted on the pattern plate.
- When using breaker cores, always select the matching breaker core specification.
- For closed risers, ensure a vent hole is provided at the top to allow atmospheric pressure communication.
Storage & Handling
- Store in a cool, dry place away from moisture and open flames
- Do not bake or apply coatings directly to the riser sleeve surface
- Handle with care during packaging, loading, and transport to prevent crushing or impact damage
